The coating was bad on both making it hard to see anything through them. The gold transparent contrast coating came off both of these rf's mirrors when touched with a cotton swab moistened with Windex. The movable mirror block will drop out also. Work the cam shaft back and forth while pulling outward until it comes out of the range finder. The long side goes against the body and is positioned down with the shorter side up and against the cam below the adjustment screw. Remove the spring between the lower cam and body. With the range finder removed from the camera and the bottom tube cap removed loosed the set screw holding the movable mirror block to the cam shaft. The lateral adjustment is accomplished by loosening one screw while tightening the other. The roll pin lays into a slot on the prism between the mount/adjustment screws. Removing the screws allow the prism and its mount roll pin to slide the length of the tube. The two screws on the outside edge about 1/3 the main tube length from the top hold the 50/50 fixed mirror prism in place and provide the lateral adjustment. The caps are installed by placing them onto the main tube and taping into place with a screwdriver handle until they are flush to the tube. The end caps of the main square tube can be removed by carefully prying them out with a small slot (common) screwdriver by placing the tip between the tube and cap.

The window glass is cemented in place on both RFs and removing the covers only allowed the outside of the glass to be cleaned easily.

The Name plate between the windows has no internal access under it. The socket head screws are the easiest to adjust. One of these RFs adjustment screws has slot head screws and one has the 1/16 allen wrench socket head screws. The adjustments are under the thin long plate at the base of the range finder next to the camera body (referenced instructions, 7th bulleted line).
